Installing the WAND Client
Users currently running the fireSpace Client v.6.5.4028.238 will need to uninstall the application before installing the WAND Client.
The WAND Client, formally known as fireSpace, can be installed on users’ tablets using the ClickOnce installation. For all other environments the MSI installation should be used.
When using the ClickOnce installation users will automatically be prompted for updates. However, when using the MSI installer the version control is managed by your administrator.
To Uninstall fireSpace
- 1. From the Start Menu go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs.
- 2. Highlight fireSpace and click Change/Remove
- 3. The WAND Maintenance window will then appear confirming the type of application maintenance.
- 4. Ensure 'Remove the application from this computer' is highlighted before continuing.
- 5. Once the application has been uninstalled the WAND Client can be installed.
- To install the WAND Client
- 1. Once fireSpace has been uninstalled, click the Download link on this page to start the download.
- 2. Click Install to run the Click Once installation.
- 3. To cancel the installation, click Cancel.
